Arc’teryx ReBird Service Center

Arc’teryx is an outdoor sports equipment provider from North Vancouver, British Columbia. The company is a team of nature lovers who believe that waste is a problem that we all have a responsibility to solve.

Challenge

Arc’teryx wanted to open an innovative retail and service center in New York based on a circular economy model.

Objective

Ensure the center is part of Arc’teryx’s ReBird program, which champions the company’s commitment to sustainability through upcycling, resale, and proper product care and repairs.

Rousseau solution

The Arc’teryx ReBird Service Center was to provide retail sales for new, used, and upcycled goods. It would also offer complimentary on-site services such as product care, product education, technical wash services, DWR renewal, and product repairs.

After Arc’teryx engaged Commander Warehouse Equipment to equip the facility, it was decided that Rousseau-brand equipment would best suit the needs of the new service center. Arc'teryx was attracted to the quality, selection and flexibility of the products available.

A custom-curated selection of Rousseau solutions was chosen to help make the project a success. Utility panels, workstations, carts, R-cabinets, and other Rousseau products were supplied and shipped to New York to be installed in the ReBird Center. The facility is now an excellent example of the versatility of Rousseau products.

This was an especially inspiring project for Rousseau because we share the same sustainable development values by seeking to reduce our environmental footprint as much as possible.
