Receiving And Shipping Clerk

Work Shift : Evening (Monday to Thursday from 3:45pm to 2:15am)

Salary: According to internal pay scales

Location: St-Jean-Port-Joli

Description :

The Receiving And Shipping Clerk carries out all operations relating to the receipt, handling and storage of goods and raw materials. They also carry out all operations relating to the storage, classification, packaging, loading, location and dispatch of finished products.

Receiving and handling deliveries:
Receive deliveries, unload merchandise from trailers and ensure that deliveries comply with the purchase order. Supply assembly lines with materials. Label, place or deliver materials to correct locations.

Logistics and transportation:
Move trailers, load and unload inter-plant shuttles, move pre-packaged finished products to their temporary or loading location.

Specific tasks :
Clear snow from shelters and trailers as required. Return merchandise.

Shipping and packaging:
Assemble orders securely. Scan barcodes and perform final packaging (straps, plastic, special crates, etc.). Palletize orders with forklift.

Perform any other tasks requested by immediate superior.

Skills and experience required:

• Experience as a receiving and/or shipping warehouseman is an asset
• Experience in assembly, packaging and order picking
• Good physical condition
• Good manual dexterity
• Computer skills
• Versatility
