Subdivide Your Drawers with Plastic Bins

If you want to organize your drawers and easily move their contents around, Rousseau has a ready-made subdividing system using plastic bins. The bins are designed for 3"H and 4"H drawers only.
This article focuses on two subdividing options with a section dedicated to each of these options.
Option 1 – Preconfigured drawers to get up and running quickly
Option 2 – Personalization for more control
Whichever option you choose, you need to determine the size of your R or L drawers. At Rousseau we use the nominal size of the drawers as a reference.
R drawers
To find the nominal width and depth of your R drawer, measure the interior dimensions and refer to the table below. The dimensions in blue correspond to the nominal width and depth of your drawer. Use these dimensions at all times.

L drawers
To find the nominal width and depth of your L drawer, measure the interior dimensions and refer to the table below. The dimensions in green correspond to the nominal width and depth of your drawer. Use these dimensions at all times.

Note that both L and R drawers are subdivided in the same way.
Option 1 – Preconfigured drawers to get up and running quickly
Take a look at the configuration options on this page: www.rousseaumetal.com/plastic-bins-compartments. After selecting the nominal dimensions of your drawer, you will see the subdividing options available to you. You then just have to choose the desired configuration and specify the height of the drawer. To immediately request a quote, just click "Request a quote."
Example:
The red box shows the product code. The green box shows the drop-down list where you select the height of your drawer (3" or 4").
Note: If you do not immediately request a quote and just want to note down the code for later use, you must complete the code manually. For example, the code R00BE-E0210__ in the example above would become R00BE-E021003 for 3"H drawers.
Option 2 – Personalization for more control
You can also create your own configuration with individual plastic bins. As with option 1, you need to determine the size of your drawers.

Dissipative plastic bins are also available. These can be subdivided in the same way as regular plastic bins. However, the product codes are different. These can be found in the table below.
